最近我需要一个海外服务器折腾 RSS，这里我选择 Digital Ocean，我对它很有感情，因为我用的第一个 VPS 就是它家的。但之后 DO 因为被薅羊毛搞得太厉害，所以在速度和稳定性上没点优势，我又转用谷歌云，后面一直到现在付费用了两三年的谷歌云。

这次又想到 DO 纯粹因为情怀和几乎免费的价钱，性价比特别高。

DO 的一大特色就是各种送码和优惠，但里面又有很多坑，今天我给大家梳理一下他们的政策，找出最正确的注册和使用教程。

1、不要开代理。我记得以前 DO 的网站处于半墙状态，很难访问，但目前 DO 是可以不用代理访问注册，如果你在国内用代理访问 DO ，如果被检测出，可能账户会被锁定，上传证件照片验证。

2、DO 有很多分享链接和推广链接，使用这些链接注册后双方都能得到一些奖励，目前官网的活动，通过 https://m.do.co/c/3739a2b83f71 注册会被赠送 100 美金，但有效期只有两个月，但有效期时间太短，并不推荐使用。

推荐用无痕浏览器注册，不使用任何推广链接注册，这样注册后可以使用优惠码，目前金额最大的优惠码属于 GitHub 学生礼包 中的促销码，同样 100 美金，有效期一年。

如果是学生，参考 Github student package 申请过程 获取 GitHub 学生礼包。

如果不是学生，不满足条件也想获取该促销码，可以使用些不道德的手段，这里我就不公开分享了。

这里多说一句，视频中没提到的。我理解你的心情，请你先自行找方法，如果实在找不到，加我微信，我私下给你几种办法

3、请注意，以上两种赠送金任意一种都需要验证，要么用外币信用卡验证，要么使用国区 PayPal。

区别在于使用信用卡验证不会真正扣费，一周后会退还，但 PayPal 需要充值一笔最低 5 美元的帐单，充值到账户后可以用于消费，不退还。

4、工单有两个注意点，首先提交工单时要找准主题，其次要用英语沟通。

视频中提到，有人通过提工单的方式解决了只能用一次优惠码的教程
